Portable Watercraft Wash System

The Portable Watercraft Wash System is self-contained.  When it arrives at a site, all of the components required to wash boats and trailers are with the unit.  It has a large water tank with wash water.  The wash water is caught by a reclaim mat and  pumped through a filter system so that the dirt and aquatic material on a boat and trailer are captured and the wash water can be used again and again.  Hot water generated by the water heater kills zebra mussel larvae and other sensitive species and is effective in removing aquatic material and mud that is "baked on" by the sun.

Deploying the reclaim mat.

Two people easily unfold the reclaim mat.  The reclaim mat has a water-filled berm around its perimeter to capture the wash water.

The undercarriage sprayer effectively cleans the bottom of a boat.

The undercarriage sprayer cleans the bottom of a boat and trailer as the boat trailer is towed across the mat.

Spray pattern for side sprayers and undercarriage sprayer. Spray screens control the spray.

Side spray bars and spray shields (green) are optional items that increase the efficiency of washing during the "drive-through" and reduce the amount of washing required with the hand wands.  The spray patterns from the side sprayer nozzles and from the undercarriage sprayer are shown in blue.

Two people can easily carry the reclaim mat.

When boat washing at a site is completed, the reclaim mat is folded and carried back to the trailer.  This system needs only two people to set up and operate.  No special equipment such as a fork lift is needed.

The Portable Watercraft Wash System is mounted on a trailer. It is moved from location to location with a pickup.

The Portable Watercraft Wash System is moved from site to site by using a pickup for towing.  There is no need for a large truck.
